Serial number management in 3rd party sales

Hi,

Understand that there is a full fledged functaionality of the subject in EHP-5.

We have upgraded to EHP-5 recently and are looking to go gor the same.

Can anybody share the config activities required to be carried out in MM & SD.

Hi,

    Recently we also upgraded our ECC 6.0 to ECC EHP 5.0, First ask your Basis consultants to give the side effect causing and solving notes and you have to fully go through once you got it from them. After that you need to do all Unit testing and Integration testing iternally in testing server of your normal daily day to day transactions. and then first move it to production without activating any new functionality that is added in EHP5.

After successful upgradation of EHP5 in production goto Tcode SFW5 to activate the new functionality that you wish to activate, this can be done few weeks later.
