MMC is not getting started.

I was working with my ides server.

After properly shutdown when i started the system it is restarted automaticaly and hang out.

Then I found when i was open mmc to start SAP services it was not opening some time restarted.

I had checked event log it was showing following message.

Faulting application sapstartsrv.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000.

In services SAPIDS_00 was not started.

Now my MMC is not getting started.

I cannot see the IDS data base in MMC .

What should i have to do to start my IDES back.

What I suggest , go to windows services , SAPIDS_00. Right click and go to properties . Change the start type to manual.

Then reboot the system .

Once the system comes up , start the service SAPIDS_00 manually .

Then open the SAP MMC . Check if the IDS system is available in the MMC.

Then start the SAP instance .

The  sapstartsrv.exe is having issues .

Hi Ratnajit Dey,

Thanks for helping me.

I had solve my problem by another way.

First i went to command prompt.

Go to usr\sap\..\exe and run command sapstartsrv.exe -t

then confirm it.

after then i wen to console.

in properties goto fixed tab and create a new instance with out user name and password in manual instance IDS and <hostname> 00 for SAP and select profile from same directory path.

then my services started.

Now it's working fine.
