Hi,
we have several HP DeskJet 6122 on our company.
I need to install them on SAP and can't find any 100%-working device type on the list provived by SAP on SPAD.
Do you know if there's a SAP driver available anywhere?
Thanks,
Antonio
Hi António,
The note 8928 (List of supported printers/device types) lists supported printers.
If a printer understands PCL printer language, it is possible that you can use a device type of a similar printer that is listed in the note but this is not certain to work.
If a printer can be used in Postscript mode, you can use device type POST2.
After this you could use the SAPWIN device type, as this printer is not listed in the note. Related information:

If your printer can be connected to a Windows system, you can use the
SAPWIN device type and Access Method F or S which will utilise the
Windows printer driver.
You can use Access method S if the printer is connected to a Windows
print server running SAPSprint or SAPLPD. You use Access method F if
the printer is defined in the Windows Print Manager of the Frontend
user's PC.
With device type SAPWIN the print data is created in Windows and sent
to the printer as small graphics.

Hope this helps.

You can check with HP that they have drivers for SAP for this particular printer model. If they have you can upload the drivers in SPAD and start using it
