BOM should be non editable after creation of PR

Hi Experts,

My business ppl wants BOM to be non editable, once PR is created for it. It should be non editable at PR change & display, PO change & display and GR stage. Also, they want to restrict it for a particular plant of a company code.

Kindly suggest.

Hi Awadhesh,

to restrict user from editing BOM in Purchase requisition and Purchase order you need to different Tcode with transaction variant through SHDO.

to restricts user from editing items while taking GR use BADI MB_CHECK_LINE_BADI..here you can add program for not allow user to see components

Hi Shyam,

Business is not ready for using different t-codes. They want to use standard tcodes only.

So, do we have standard BADI to restricting non-edit of BOM once  PR is generated with it. The BADI MB_CHECK_LINE_BADI that you suggested will work at GR stage. Kindly suggest from PR to PO phase as well.

They want to restrict non-editable of BOM after PR is created for Subcontracting purchasing document types only for a single plant. For other plants, under same Company code, this vaidation of non editable BOM should not be there.

Please give inputs.
