Error: Blocked due to quality reasons in MIRO (URGENT)

Sir,

                       While doing MIRO, i am receiving a error message "BLOCKED DUE TO QUALITY REASONS". Already we have a system , miro can be done for a material after Quality inspection is cleared.  Inspection lot is also created. But still i am receving this Error. Kindly solve this issue

Hello Balakrishnan,

Check if any QM Control Key is assigned in material which has Invoice Block indicator activated... QM Control key config path: SPRO --> QM --> QM In Logistics --> QM in Procurement --> Define Control Keys.

Also check Q-Info Record related to this material & vendor... if Invoice is blocked for any particular quality reason. Use tcode-QI02/QI03.

                   Thanks for your immediate reply, i have checked in QM info record , i have maintained , Inspection control- S104- Source Inspection at GR for Purch. Order and  Release date- 31.12.9999 . Kindly tell me, anywhere i have to find configurations in SPRO

                 In QM control key , there is a indicator for Release invoice and Block invoice. What shall i do

Hello Bala,

I believe, you have QM Control Key-0007 assigned in material master; which has indicators-Release Required & Block Inoice selected in config.

This means, based on business requirement you will have this key assigned in material master and now, you need to release the supply relationship for a particular vendor, material in the Q-Info record. 

Go to QI02 --> Status tab and release Supplier Relationship status and try.

In QM info record , earlier  the status was empty, i have changed to Supply Relationship Initiated, then also giving same error, blocked for quality reasons. kindly solve

Are you using your business specific status profile in Supply Relationship or a standard one?

Go till status "Released".. and then try.

Also; do you really need a Supplier Relationship in Q-Info record ?? If you do not need it or not really using it then remove QM Control key-0007 from QM view of material master and try to use other relevant one... like 0000 - No active functions or etc.
