HR Infotype for Resource Planning

Hi Gurus,

In my project currently we have a scenario when HR is in ECC 6.0 system and rest of the modules are in R/3 4.6 C system. I need to do resource planning and forecasting in the PS module in 4.6 sytem. as a result I need the HR employee data ( mini master) in the 4.6 system.

As per my understanding for PS we need the infotypes 001, 002,007 and 0315.  This normally suffice for everything. But now the requiremnt is that the absence of the employee is required in resource forecasting/planning.

Hence I want to confirm that shud the above mentioned infotypes be Ok ? or do I need to include infotype 2001 also.

Hi Anjali,

Basically, the infotypes that you have listed in your post above should suffice your requirement from the timesheet booking perspective. However, as you have mentioned that you need to include the absence of the employee as well i think you will have to define the 2001 infotype as well.

Besides, i dont see any harm in configuring/defining an extra infotype (in your case 2001).
