Hi David,

This happens generally after kernel upgrade..have you performed kernel upgrade ?

When you select process list from the console , DISPATCHER should have got status of "info queue unailavable"

May be sapstartsrv from kernel directory is not in sync sapstartsrv in c://windows/system32

If the above symptons are applicable do as follows....

Copy sapstartsrv.exe from your kernel directory .... /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run/....

Open to c://windows/system32--- find sapstartsrv.exe and overwrite the same with the copied file from kernel directory...

It seems to be PRD system , plan for stop and start of sap system , during this process go to services.msc and restart all SAP services... Ideally doing this steps should resolve the issue..

thanks,

rahul..

can you find usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run...Is it 32 bit or 64 bit system....

I would suggest you rather go to usr/sap/SID/SYS and search for file...

Problem is that I can find c:\user\sapadm\.........................

But not I cannot find SID\SYS\EXE\RUN

Because I cannot find SID; that's the reason I cannot find other.

In the SAP MMC , just right click the dispatcher , show developer trace . Copy the contents and paste here. Then go through the trace and figure out the path where the SAP is installed.

Once you determine the path , then go to

Drive :\usr\sap\<SID>\DVE*\work.

Paste the contents of the file dev_disp and dev_w0.

Then we can figure out the cause of the issue.

Your SID is PRD.

Check if the database service is running .

Start -->Run -->type services.msc

Start the database service if not running.

From the screens you shared it is understood dispatcher is stopped...Please do as follows..

1) login as prdadm to OS level and try to start sap system--

2) Open services and start Oracle and SAP services

3) Open SAP MMC and start SAP services..If dispatcher is in stopped status... follow step 4..

4) Start - run , type cmd --> open cmd prompt and run command  ---> R3trans -d

0000 is ok ,

0012 is error...

When your run R3trans -d this will create a file called trans.log in the same path where you run command R3trans -d , Open trans.log and copy paste the error lines...this will help in try to understand the why dispatcher is stoppped..

Do you have any opportunity to check my computer from remote distance by Team-Viewer?

Hi Rahul,

Regarding CMD, please see following screenschot:

It means R3trans-d is not recognised

Hi when i look in to screen shot i could understand you logged in to OS level as rahman....

c:\uesr\rahman...

only R3trans -d works when it is c:\users\prdadm ...

Pl check and let us know even you are logging with prdadm issue still exists..

There seems to be some problem with env variables...

In C:\users\prdadm directory there is a file trans.log .

Copy the contents of the file and paste here .

Start the Oracle services (services starting with oracle , do not start the oracle job scheduler service)

Start -->Run --> type services.msc
