Netweaver 7.3 EHP1 Installation

Doing an installation that requires a netweaver on 2 servers and up to 4 environments (S,D,Q & P).  Is it possible to complete one installation of Netweaver and then take an image the server to another server?  Is there a way to modify the system ID's, host name, URL and database ID while implementing an image?   know in the past we could not, but wondered if this has changed recently.

This is still not the recommended way of installing an SAP system .With lot of manual effort you can change the hostname , DBSID , system ID etc . But this only works for ABAP systems , for JAVA systems you should either install or do a system copy using SAPINST.

But again this method depends on the database you are using . If you are using Oracle , you can use the NID utility to change the database SID , but for DB2 LUW you will not be able to change the SID consistently.
