BW & Universe for explorer

Hi All,

One of my deliverables for a client is Explorer on an iPad. I understood that SP4 would give me the functionality to create an OLAP connection on a
BW cube using Information Design Tool. Thereafter create a .unx universe which we could use in Explorer.

But from what I can see in the documentation and in the Information Design Tool it seems that for a BW cube the only option available is to create a relational connection with data foundation & business layer. If I create a data foundation for my cube it contains the tables and not all of them are joined automatically!

Am I missing something?  Do you know if the functionality I seek is possible?

Hi Pritesh,

The tables that are not joined automatically, are tables of master data, exactly are texts tables. In the Data foundation you can join this tables from the correct dimension, and the fields (Short text, large text and Header) are shown in the universe(.unx), but in the BO Explorer are not visible.
