Table Maintenance in Web dynpro

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to create table maintenance through web dynpro for my newly created Ztable. Can someone help me in this regards?

Hi Sofia,

I would create a component from the scratch.

The component should display a table (same structure as your ZTable) and offer at least following functions.

• Change Mode (Edit/Display mode)
  • Be sure to check when changing to edit mode if the table is locked (i.e. currently not maintained by another user).

• Add new line
• Remove marked Line
• Save Table (Update table)
• Cancel maintenance

When starting the component, it reads your ztable and displays it in the components table.

Not sure.. But just a thought.. SAP Creates a Function Group in turn, it must be creating a Function Module for Table Maintenance.. And SAP Also provided a wizard to create web service for a Function Module.. Check if this thing can be harnessed for creating a easy way to create a WD application for table maintenance in WD..
