Dynamic Configuration. - TServerLocation

Hi. Experts.

I want to use Dynamic Configuration for SOAP Receiver URL. I saw on the below wiki to set the URL by UDF.

However I have a problem I checked on my Trace. the value for TServerLocation is too long than 200 characters.

<Trace level="1" type="T">Not set to Dynamic Configuration

......

Value is too long (236/200):

Is posible send the value?

ask your basis/web people if they can prepare a redirection on some short name

to the final name - they should be able to help you and you will just need to put a short name

in the TServerLocation itself,

Dear All,

Is there anyone know whether SAP still have this limitation?

We checked note 1805037, it defined similar case, but our system has version of SAP_XIAF 7.31.6.49, but we still have this limitation.

Hi Dong,

In the note it say SOAP Sender Adapter and it only applies to cookies. So I do not think this has been resolved at all

Hi Dong,

Apart from Michal's suggestion, try pasting your URL in a URL shortener e.g bitly or goo.gl and see if that works.

Hello Fabrizio,

This is a known limitation. As of now, there has been no word from SAP in increasing the length of the URLs.
