Dear gurus,
We are currently migrating from SAP ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0.
| Have two ECC 6.0 sap systems without a transport route.
I'd like to export a change request and import it manually in another system.
After the request is released neither datafile nor cofile are created and no log is shown. I would copy these files into new system and import through STMS.
Could you help me about the best solution for this?
Thanks and best regards,
Fabio Purcino
hi,
1st thing you want to import transport ECC 5.0 system to ECC 6.0 system?
if you want to transport the request then
1. create a virtual system VCC.
2. create a transport request modifiable or customize ( not local change request). with target system as VCC
4. check co file and data file is generated or not.
5. copy the cofile and datafile in the respective folder in new system.
6. add the request in stms_import.
7. select and import the request.
regards,
Meenakshi

Sorry, this is plain basic. Have you read the TMS Guide?

After the request is released neither datafile nor cofile are created
That most likely mean that the transport was created as a local request. In that case no cofile or datafile will be created. Check SE10
Additional to that those systems should at least have individual TMS domains.
