Hi All,
My question is regarding Item 'Locked' status in EWM Inbound Delivery. I have activated Packaging Specification Existence check for one of the delivery item. Now, when such a delivery comes from ERP system and I open this in EWM /scwm/prdi, I see the locked status as 'red' already for this item.
The status 'red' is correct, since I don't have a packspec, however I want to know how the packspec existence check got triggered? I did not do a 'check' for this delivery.
Any ideas?
Hi Neetu,
The check is correct. It is triggered when the Inbound delivery Notification is activated; it checks for the Pack Spec because of the configuration you did. To go on please create a Pack Spec, activate it and delete the current ID. The system will create a new ID which will have a pack spec determined.
All the best,
Claudiu Maxim

Thanks Claudiu for your reply.
I still have more doubt: In one of our other system, when I open such a delivery directly in /scwm/prdi, the check does not happen automatically and I have to do a 'Check' in this transaction. In the earlier example I had givem, system gives the status correctly as 'red', when I open the delivery for first time. Why is causing this difference in these systems?
Any customizing which I need to do, in order to get the item checked for Packspec?
Hi Neetu,
Have you maintained condition for determining packspec in inbound delivery? If not then check the condition table setting and maintain if for your vendor & product combination. Also you can check the exact error in log or by clicking on check button in /SCWM/PRDI.
Hope this will help.
Thanks,
Sandip
