Dear All,
Database size details :
SAP PRD : 5 TB
SAP QA : 2 TB
SAP DEV : 1 TB
How upgrade the database because it is large of size database in SAP.
Please help me.
Thanks,
Manas
Hello Manas,
the upgrade duration itself has nothing to do with the database size. The database upgrade only touches the software (binaries, libraries, etc.) and the oracle dictionary / coding (apart from special date parts).
Just follow the upgrade guide mentioned by Ivy.

Just upgrading your database to Oracle 11g would not automatically compress the data if you are referring to OLTP compression. You need to enable OLTP compression after the upgrade.
Refer this SCN thread

As of now just upgrade the database to 11.2.0.3 as mentioned in the previous replies.

Hi Manas,
i already answered this question on this thread: http://scn.sap.com/thread/2017608
However as it seems you are not very confident / experienced with such activities. I would highly recommend to do this not on your own, because of with Oracle DG it is getting even more complicated.
Best Regards
Stefan
