Hello all,
I will soon make my 1st refresh. I will refresh simulation with a copy of Production server, although I have a few questions about space.
As my Prod DB has almost 2 TB, I have 2TB occupied FS on /oracle/SID/sapdata1.
To be able to do refresh, do I need the same size of the FS on /oracle/SID/sapdata1 on my Simulation system ? Because now my Simulation system has the DB size ( sapdata1 FS ) just 900 Gb.
Are there any other FSs where I need to have the same size as on Prod ?
Thanks in advance,
J.
at a minimum, you need the same disk space as the used space on source.
example:
PRD has a 3TB filesystem but only 2TB is being used as of now.
on WAS system, you will need a 2TB filesstem as a minimum.
good luck.

Hello Jordan,
Yes SAPDATA file system size needs to be same on the simulation system. If the database size on prod is 2TB u need to have at least this much space in simulation system.
Also no other file system needs to be resized for system copy
Thanks
