Hi all,
can someone bring some light to the following question:
we are developing Portal Applications and WebDynpro Applications in the NWDS.
Deployment of those is done with the NWDS itself (no NWDI).
Which permissions will a developer need in the J2EE and in the portal to deploy its applications? We don't want every developer to have the "Administrator" and/or super_admin role.
Thx for your help,
Michael
If you are not using the NWDI you must make a difference between following 2 cases:
- For the deployment of PAR files you need administrator rights as mentioned <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/e3/1d372d0aa111d7b84700047582c9f7/content.htm">here</a>.
- To deploy J2EE applications you use the SDM and need the SDM password (<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/3c/52413e7bcd561ee10000000a114084/content.htm">link</a>).
Regards,
Christophe
