Possible/Allowed to Add an Index to ORDR table for user field?

I would like to add an index to the ORDR table for my user field.

Is this allowed? Encouraged/ Discouraged?

Hi Mark,

of course you are allowed to add your own indexes to tables while you should not do this on database level directly but instead you should use transaction SE11.

Still, you should carefully test this as other queries might start using the new index as well and this might not be intended by you.
