Hi Guys,

There is a requirement as follows.

Product A is made up of B.Finished product A should start exactly 15 mins after semifinshed product B starts.

if the semifinished product starts at 10.00 AM then the finished product should start at 10.15.

I think this cannot be mapped by lead time offset in BOM. As its the other way round. here irrespective of time and quantity, the finished product start time has to be 15 mins after the start of its child that is B. Is this possible?

Hi Shruthi,

you could insert dummy operation with a fixed time of 15 min either at the end the routing for the semi-finished product B or at the beginning of the routing of finished product A.

Or alternative option:

But the requirement is, the finshid product start time should be 15 mins after the start time of semi finshed. for example. semifinished product start and end time is 9.00am to 12.00 pm. Now the finished product start time should be 9.15 am. Can this be mapped?
