Error while applying the patches in solman

Hi experts,

During  apply the patching in  Solman s/m ( basis patch) first it stuck and every t-code giving me as below error.

Syntax error in program "SAPLSTXC ".

Syntax error in program "SAPLTMSC ".

Syntax error in program "SAPLKKBL ".

when i go to import again it give me same error.

Solman 7.1 with DB2

what does import log of the queue read?

And which is the SPAM status now?

Hi vivek,

Check the tp log in stms and logs in SPAM. And as this is a Basis package you wont be able to access no of T-code.

Check the ALOG, SLOG for the issues related to the Package your applying and also check the Support package log which you can see on the SPAM main screen under logs.

Update us with the message in the logs you seen.

Hello Vivek,

Are you able to get the SPAM screen at least and before applyin BASIS package have you upgardeed the SPAM to latest patch.

also check if your able to go in T-code SPAM check the Import log of queue and Action log of queue in SPAM ( located next to the Truck icon) on the main screen of SPAM.

I believe you are still in the process of applying the SAP BASIS SP SAPKB70105.

Complete the patching from SPAM and then execute any transaction . The MAIN IMPORT phase is still going on .

You are not supposed to run any transaction and wait until the patching is complete.

no i can only run SPAM but after clicking in import button its throws error.

Apply the transport required for the Basis SP from the OS level

1. Add transport to buffer:

tp addtobuffer XXXK999999 XXX pf=TP_DOMAIN_<sid>.PFL

XXXK999999 =  the transport number
XXX is the SID of Target system and <sid> is the sid of  the Domain Controller

1. Import transport:

tp import XXXK999999 XXX clientyyy u123 pf=TP_DOMAIN_<sid>.PFL

where yyy = the client to import into (ex. Client100)

Once this is done . Then retry with SPAM.
