ACCESS_VIOLATION when connect to HANA via Data Services

Hi Guru:

We have data services connected to HANA and it worked fine.

However after we upgarde the HANA and the HANA driver to patch 32, it stopped working. Everytime I tried to access the HANA from data servcies, from example, I want to View Data for a table, the data services will close itself.

I tried to run a job, it will fail and with an error ACCESS_VIOLATION.

Can you give me some direction about how to resolve it?

If No - How do you resolve the issue?

I am having similar issue while loading data in SAP Hana via Data Services 4.0.

Hi,

Have you applied latest HANA client both on your BODS server and BODS developer machine.

Yes, we did install the newest client on the BODS server and developer machine.

The funny thing is, before we update the client, it worked. It happened after the upgrade.

Hi Eric,

Could you please check PAM for BODS compatibility with HANA SP 04.

I was going through the release notes for BODS and found following.

For compatibility with SAP HANA, see SAP Note 1600140

Surprisingly, the mentioned note is not released yet.

are you talking about Data service designer which closes itself when you try to view the table data at Data service side?

can you check the free space available at DS server. and try to retest the connection inside DS designer again.
