Vendor Master LSMW Error

Former Member

Hello,

While running and LSMW for the vendor master, I received a few errors.  I was able to resolve the others, but I can't figure out the meaning of the following:

Formatting error in the field LFB1-TOGRR; see next message

Entry 1355 ALT1   does not exist in T169L (check entry)

Does anyone know what the above means?  Also, do you know how to resovle the error?

Paul

PS Thanks in advance and I always give points to the correct answer.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.  I went to Tcode OBA3 and entered the tolerance group in the "name" column.  I did not put it in the "tolerance group" column.  Accordingly, when I reran the LSMW, it failed for the same error.

So, my question to you is, should I move the actual tolerance group from the name column to the tolerance group column.  Or, should I navigate based upon your reccomendation in SPRO and make configuration there?

Thanks,

Paul

Hello,

This is OBA3: (Please refer to company code 1355 in the screen shot below)

And, in your menupath, company code 1355 is missing entirely.

Hi,

Using your navigation I noticed that the tolerance group has been assigned to the company code in question.  Also, in OBA3, the name column has configuraiton behind it.  Those two columns are analgous to material number and material description.  So, not only is moving the value in the name column over to to the tolerance group impossible, it wouldn't make a difference.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

@Mr. PPIO, thank you very much for your help.  I really appreciate it.  I hope you see this because I can't send you a message, but you were of great assistance.  I indicated your answers were both correct, and helpful.

Mr. PPIO's solution that is timestamped at: Jul 31, 2012 12:29 AM; is the solution.

Although, I did make a correction in OBA3, the data wasn't able to load until I followed Mr. PPIO's advice.

So, just do what he initially said.
