RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: IDocException occurred

Hi All,

ECC - PI 7.3 : idoc to file scenarios. IDOC java sender comm channel. using ICO.

i am getting this error : RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: IDocException occurred in SM58 in ECC system - but only for enhancement of MATMAS idoc.

but the strange thing is : it is working fine for MATMAS idoc, but not working for an enhancement of MATMAS idoc. the ICO which i have created, i deleted and then recreated it and activated it. still i am getting this error.

this error is coming only on sending the enhancement of MATMAS idoc.

but MATMAS idoc scenario is working fine. We need both scenarios to be working for idoc to file - sending of both MATMAS and enhancement of MATMAS idocs.

any suggestions, how to rectify this error. thanks.

Hi,

Check if your partner profile for enhanced IDoc uses exactly the same EDI port (and RFC destination) as the MATMAS one. If yes, then provide further error details from sm58 (from the "Status Text" column), since RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE is a very generic error.
