how to add tab page at PPM5.0

Hi experts,

     we want to add new tab page and fields at ppm5.0,but we didn't how to add it.we folllowed the note 1405902,but it lacks details.Pls help us.

Hi,

To do that you have to carry out the following steps:

Check IMG activity ‘Define Object Context for Navigation’ (SAP Portfolio and Project Management à Portfolio Management à Global Customizing àProcess and Service Settings à Navigation Settings) for the FPM Variant ID assigned to the current context specified by Application Type, Portfolio Type, Object Type, Portal Role as well as Mode.

Update the corresponding ABAP WD component configuration for the Variant specified in the mentioned IMG activity ‘Define Object Context for Navigation’. Here you can add/remove/update MainViews, SubViews as well as UIBBs.

In IMG activity ‘Define Authorizations for Detail Screen Tab Pages’ (SAP Portfolio and Project Management à Portfolio Management à Global Customizing àProcess and Service Settings à Navigation Settings) you can optionally create a line for each tab/subtab to specify the ACL activity to be checked during tab switch.

To remove tabs or subtabs of the detail screen  you have to delete the settings described above.

HI Qiao,

As standard, you can add the custom fields in the tab General and Additional Info tab.

Please refer to the customizing under Global Field Setiings for more detaiils. This is easy way for additional custom fields for item.

The creation of new tab with custom fields will require an enhancement to the existing item webdynpro. Please check with the technical team about how you can achieve it.
