BW in same client - infocubes empty

Dear all,

We have setup BW client in same Solman client.

But infocubes are empty.

Found some notes for BW in solman

Note 1421507 - Incident Management Reporting Central Note

Note 1543145 - Initialization of Incident Management Reporting

Doing all according 1543145, but my incident management infocubes are empty

Help please tried to search for solution but no results yet

Thanks for the doc, i've alrdy read it. And make setting accroding to doc but no results.

Infocubes of incident management are still empty

Hi

That means background jobs are not running etc....to fill it.

goto solution manager administration .......workcenter and now choose infrastructure...click on BW Reporting tab and run in embed window etc.

check if all the extractor are running and everything is ok or green

Hi again, thanks for input i checked this and yes there was missing authorization for solman_btc and smd_rfc users.

Last thing i can't understand, there is red message:

No English definition was found for the status profile SNWS0001

But in system there is not such status schema exist!!! What should i do? create from sracth? if yes i don't know what type of status schema i should create.

There is two Extractors,

Main data extractor

Master data extractor

I launched first - incident management work center -> report -> setup.

and what about Master data extractor??? how do i start it?

Dataload finished without problems, but infocubes still empty ?!

run the scenario setup extractor from the reporting area in incident workcenter

Solman_workcenter -> Incident Management -> Reports -> Setup:

BI settings were saved

BI content is already active

Infocubes are still with no data . . .

I've checked extractors, they do uploading data

I want to work with messages in BW but why 0 bytes transported to this object?

Hi again, it's looks like data is loading ok, BUT!

I'm still getting empty cubes and 0DSO objects....

and all infocubes related to Incident management Reporting are empty...

mb i need to do something more to see my data???

Dear customer,

I checked the issue in your system and cannot confirm that e.g. DSO

0SPR_DATA is empty. The reason why you think that the DSO is empty is

because you are missing the requests in DSO administration. But we

are using transactionmal DSO's and InfoCubes which do not write any

requests. The data is inserted directly into the DSO without a request.

If you choose the option "Display Data" (right-click on DSO) you will

see that data is available in the data targets. I attached a screenshot.

So, from my point of view there is no error. That's why I close this

message.

If there are still problems on your side feel free to send this message

back to SAP.

So infocubes wasn't empty, cause system loading data direct into infocubes without Requests as ussually in BW systems.

The problem is we use SolMan 7.0 Ehp 1, and I can't find here infrastructure? Can I monitor errrors of data loading in my sysstem?

We are implementing Solman SP5, can you provide me with the document to activate and load BW reports for ITSM. The BW activation and loading is different from normal BW. Thanks

Hi Siva,

For this you need go to t/c Solman_Setup

1) Choose Basic Setup - here go through all steps you will see BW related steps

2) IT service management - also go through all steps
