backup recovery of DEV

I have following question to ask.

I have DEV 200 and DEV 400. I want to restore my old backup on DEV 400 but it must not affect the DEV 200.

Kindly help to sort this issue.

By 200 and 400 you mean clients right ?

If you restore a database backup , your entire system would be overwritten by the restored data and it is not possible to have 1 client intact and restore the other client data.

What I suggest is take a client export using SCC8 of client 200 , then restore the database backup and then import the requests and perform the post-import activity using SCC7.

This way you client 400 would be restored from the backup and at the same time you will have the current state of client 200 intact using the export/import method (SCC8/SCC7)
