DB02 reports missing objects, but they do exist.

Hi Guys,

after successful system copy the system starts ok and transactions run ok. We can query data no problem in SQL-query and in relevant transactions.

Transactions SE11, SE16, SE14, DB02 ALL report that ALL tables do not exist on the database. When we check this with the appropriate transaction the data is there and also when we check with SQL query from DB02 it works.

We are non-schema database dbo.*

I have checked note 1086375 - 'User ID/Schema ID inconsistency in SQL database' and when I run the script it says 'Nothing to do'.

Any ideas?

MB

Hello MB,

Have you performed the necessary steps of STM after the system copy?

Hi Eduardo,

I ran STM and got error in the last phase.

It seems the source database (PRD!!) has schema problems already and the STM scripts crashed out.

SAP Support used netviewer to manually repair the schema using SQL query!!!

I encountered a situation that 'should not happen'

Thanks for the suggestion. In future if anyone gets the same scenarion then raise a message with SAP asap.

Best regards,

Mark.

Hello Mark,

If the STM crashed after a system copy, probably something is wrong with the source system and it is a very good idea to open a message with SAP asap.

Regards,

Eduardo
