Log on issue

Dear All

I have installed SAP in my separate hard disk and have used SAP many times with that for practicing purpose . But , recently when I was trying to log in with the same , after putting correct user ID and password it was giving an error " log on not possible (error in license check) " . I have never faced such problem earlier.

Kindly help.

Thanks.

hi,

delete the sap* from database

set the parameter in instance profile  /usr/sap/<SID>/sys/profile/SID_DVEBMGS00_HOSTNAME

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0

restart the server

and login in sap* with password as PASS.

if its ABAP system

for JAVA system. restart the server.

you get some time when u can apply the license, in NWA.

Hi Shruti,

As per the SAP, they release the trial version for certain period and once it crossed it will automtically locked up and you need to install the license and you can get it from the Service market place.(it will cost you )

But whenever the system locked up, you can able to login into the system withthe help of one user Id - SAP*.

They provide this user ID for license installation purpose.

Hope you understand and let me know if you have queries.

I never answer a question that ask for a  password. What about your bank account and PIN , would you type this in a public forum?

If your SAP is licensed, then open an incident at SAP and ask their for help.

Hi Shruthi

Use master password what u have given at the time of installation. If doesn't work do as meenakshi said or if the system is your personal system stop the sap and change the system time restart the system and start the SAP.

Thanks

Hi

Your Trial License has Expired (Trial license will work only for 28 Days).

Try to Log in With SAP* user.

Go to T-Code : SLICENSE To install the new license.

Thanks Viru .But it was not a trial licence . I installed it 2 years back . I think I have done some mistake in password. If I log in with SAP* user ID , then what password I should put?

Will it be same as my password?
