QM CONTROL DATA IN SD

Dears,

My material was activated with inspection type 10 and inspection plan is maintained
without maintaining any control data in sd (T Code:QV51) i am able to finish my cycle

so pls advice what is the scope if qm control data in sd(Inspection lot now triggering before delivery)

so in production server if if go without qm control data in sd , i may face any problem in future??

But presently i didn't maintained any QM Control data in SD even lot is created before delivery for inspection type 10

so my doubt is that QM Control data in SD in relevant master data?

Or without this can we proceed?

Hello Abu,

1. You can proceed without this customer info records also, if your purpose is getting resolved.
2. Basically these records need to be created when you want to have control over customer - material combinations. e.g You are dispatching 2 material to same customer and for one material you want inspection after delivery with specific delivery type and for second delivery type is different.
3. If you do not have such scenario, you can proceed without these records also
