Activating SU Management.

Hello All,

Client wants to activate SU Managment for existing storage types.  Many of the storage types have currently stocks. Please let me know the steps to be taken for activating SU for a Storage type which has stocks. Do we need to move the stocks to an interim type or to a storage type which is non-SU managed.  Please also let me know if any changes are required for in WM master data level. 

Your help is highly appreciated.

Hello

You will have to trasfer the stocks to Non SU Managemed Storage types and then activate SU

Managed for those Storage tyes.You will have to ensure that there are no movements into these storage

types until the changes are transported to Production system.

hi..

first u have to move the stock to the non SU managed St Types then..activate SU and then if u want to put the stock into SU form then make the SU from stock..at packing stations and put them according to ur putaway strategy..
