SAP BO Analysis for Excel and HANA integration

Hi

I could not connect BO analysis for Excel(ver2007) with HANA.

Below is the operation

Open Excel 2007 -> click Analysis Menu -> Import ->click data source

Enter BO user id and password and click OK.

Select data source screen appears- Here I can see the list of datasource

when i click JDBCHANA datasource it says HANA ODBC driver does not exists.

Should i have to install HANA client for 32 Bit(win IA 32 bit version)? but my OS is 64 bit.

Pls advice.

Below things are already installed.

Installed SAP BO Analysis(32 bit) for Excel 2007

Environment is Win Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 64 bit.

Already installed SAP HANA Client ver 34 - X64 bit

SAP HANA Database Client for MS Excel is also installed version 28

When i used ordinary Excel2007 ->menu Data->datasource->select datasource wizard ->Select HANA MDX Provider

give login information and connect. it works.( i hope HANA DB Client for Excel ODBC 32bit driver helps here)

But for SAP BO cannot use the same driver?

Any addition setting is required in ODBC settings?

pls advice.

Regards

Hi Chandra,

If you have installed the 32bit version of Analysis for office you will need to install the 32bit version of the HANA client drivers.
