Sales Order ATP Check (APO) Error: Order does not exist.

Hello -

While executing ATP check on sales order, system is giving error message as "order does not exist". Message: /sapapo/rrp003. Long text of message conveying 'SAP APO and Livecache are inconsistent, database cannot recognize orders'. Further, some orders are clearing (I mean..no error) next day and new get added. We could see these orders into inbound queue with RFC monitor.

I could find relevant release note (1068815) but were released in 2009. Hence, I am wondering how come this error has not come before. Trying to check if you have encoutered similar error before Or havean  idea to resolve this issue. I.e. before implementing this note.

Any further explanation on this is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Raj,

Per error message, it looks like there are inconsistencies

  • Between APO and ECC systems
    • Execute CIF reconciliation t.code /SAPAPO/CCR and check for the missing sales orders in APO.
  • Between APO database and livecache
    • Execute consistency check t.code /SAPAPO/OM17 to correct the inconsistency (there is no direct option that can deal with sales orders though)

If your APO system is not upgraded and still at release level 602, the specified note is applicable.

Thanks,

Rajesh

Thanks Rajesh for your reply.

I checked through reconcilliation t.code but it does not show any inconsistency. My APO component version is SAP SCM 7.0 with DB6 database system.

Raj,

Probably, there might be a situation, your sales order is still hanging in CIF when you attempt to trigger the ATP check. Please check.

The availability check function call does not depend on CIF rather it's direct RFC call from ECC to APO.

Thanks,

Rajesh
