I could import Groups! Thank you.

As you know in UME there are Roles and Groups, in my case I want to provisioning groups, but sync job only take in count Roles.

How can I be able to provisioning groups instead of roles? I have already imported roles and groups and ran sync job for profile and roles succesfully.

Please.

Thank you.

Hi Guys,

At massive import there are two mandatory fields Application and landscape.

Which Application and landscape do i have to choose in order to import groups from EP? please.

Is it possible to configure these fields (Application and landscape)? where?

PLEASE!

Thank you.

Hi Leon,

Its a new functionality added  in SP08.The roles cannot be imported directly from back-end Portal system. You have to build the files and then load them from the server.

To see the Enterprise Portal and Landscape you have to select
Files on Server or Files on Desktop or Skip.  Then go to the Application
Type to see your portal connector name.

Hope this helps.

Hi Leon,

Yes, once you've done the syncs as you suggest, you'll still need to play with the master data as you would with any other source systems so use the advice from Nandita above to import the roles.

You'll also have to maintain the configuration to allow those roles to be provisioning in BRM - i.e. role status and provisioning allowed.

The EP connector will also need to be defined to allow roles to be provisioned etc. so make sure that that is all setup in the GRC system with the appropriate integration scenarios.

Have fun.

Hi Leon

Please try this method to import a short list of roles to see if
it works:

Go to NWBC ==> Access Management ==> Under Role Mass maintenance
"Role Import".  Under this role import, you can download the template
for the attribute file.

Use this template and maintain your EP roles/profiles details.
