Creating a sales cycle with reference issue

Hello,

I wanted to create a sales cycle from inquiry to delivery using the creation with reference, but whenever i create the inquiry and use its number as reference to go to quotation it says that there is no inquiry with that number! Am i missing something here? Thanks a lot!

simply check that - run VA13 , put your inquiry number and hit Enter.

does it exist?

Yes sir it does exist but my issue is when creating a quotation using the IN reference, the system says that it does not exist ( a document with number 100000013 does not exist).

hi

  R u using standard sales documents(IN,QT,OR)  or you coppied the standerd.

If you coppied the standerds while copping (ofter you save) it will ask for copping request (relevent for copping or not) if you select Yes then only you can copy from ur preseeding document.

if you are using standerds that might be problm with copy controls.
