Dynamically Override Connections

Hello Experts,

How do I do the universe connection overrides, where connection to the universe changes dynamically based on who logs in?

How can I create a Restriction Set with any universe overrides? such as an alternate connection, then apply that set to a user, or group of users????

You can do this by applying universe restriction on a connection. The restrictions ca be setup by clicking

Tools -> Manage Restrictions in universe designer

Hi Tauseef,

I followed your directions and this is what I understood I have to do; Is this all ?

1. Go to the Universe --> Tools --> Manage Security --> Manage Access Restrictions

2. Create a New Restrictions with the different Connection Names I want to Use as the restriction criteria.

3. Add User or Groups to the list

4. Apply the restriction to the respective User/Group.
