Transfer storage location addresses from R/3 to SRM

Hi Everyone,

We have a requirement to migrate all the storage locations address (from tabl ADRC) in R/3 to table ADRC in SRM. I have a RFC call to read the address from ECC. Is there a function module I can use to manually update the address in SRM ? BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD bapi needs the address to be linked to a BP & creates and entry in BUT020 & ADRC. My need is to only update the ADRC table manually. Is there a way to do this via a FM such that the adrnr gets generated internally?

Hi,

Generally storage location addresses are maintained as Internal Addresses for Plant BP.

Select 'Edit Internal Addresses' link in Admin tab of SRM portal; to maintain addresses for various storage locations for Plant BP.

P.S. One needs Admin role to maintain Internal addresses in SRM system.

Thanks for your reply. Is there a way to maintain these internal address directly in the SRM system rather than the Portal? I have more than 100 addresses to update and this wont be possible manually from the portal (admin tab).

Any ideas? thanks again! Liz
