I suspect "127.0.0.1" but host file is ok like this (I think):

#     127.0.0.1     localhost

#     ::1     localhost

<IP>    sap0926.xxx.yy    sap0926

Hi Toan,

All are fine in the log.

But my point is why not we again check the routing table by using the command netstat -r by checking whether the port is used by some other or not.

let check and know.

Former Member

Hi Silam,

netstat -r shows routing table info., no ports info.

Hi Toan,

Yes. As my point is the port are open in your system but think that if that is already used by some other application ????? then we can't connect rite ? to find that we need to check the port 21200.

Goto cmd - > then netstat -ano and check the port for 21200 and paste the same here.

Hi Silam,

Before SAPinst runs, no port 21200 or 21212. When SAPint is running, these ports appear (listening).

netstat -an / -ano shows that.

i tried with other ports (e.g. SAPINST_DIALOG_PORT=30000 GUISERVER_DIALOG_PORT=30001 GUISERVER_HTTP_PORT=8000), but failed too.

Hi Toan,

Can you check and revert back what is the output for this cmd

telenet localhost 21200

and also port 21200 is listed or not in the list netstat -aon

Hi Silam,

This is before running sapinst (when running sapinst, telnet is successful):

Run the command netstat to find out .

Sure, before SAPinst runs, no port 21200 or 21212. When SAPint is running, these ports appear (listening).
