SOLMAN_SETUP: problem with port 8002

Former Member

Hi,

I have newly installed Solution manager on Linux (RHEL).

SAP Linux Server and Client PC are within the same internal network.

TA SOLMAN_SETUP stops with Error-Message of my Client Explorer. Windows Network Diagnostic tells me, that my server doesn't accept connections on port 8002:

"Das Gerät bzw. die Ressource (XXX.XXX.de) ist nicht für das Akzeptieren von Verbindungen an Port "8002" eingerichtet."

Port 8002 is opend in my RHEL-System:

Profile entries in DEFAULT.PFL looks like

Port 25000 is also opend.

What can I do?

Thank you in advance

Wilhelm

Hi,

have you added your ip address into etc/host file and also in your desktop drivers/etc/hosts?

do you have any firewall settings, or proxy or router?

have done the configurationon that.

Please check

Thanks,

Jansi

Hi Jansi,

etc/host file is correctly set, but I don't know what or where my" desktop driver/etc/hosts" is???

I have tentativley  enabled and disabled Firewall settings etc. All other usings of my existing EHP-System and also using of my database managing system maxdb (database studio) work fine.

What about the driver/etc/hosts?

Thank you

Hi,

windows -> run-> type there drivers

and you can get your local etc/hosts and etc/services

check there?

by the way, have you set ICM/full host name parameters

Please do

Thanks

Jansi
