"????????????" menus after kernel patch

Hi,

in a R/3 4.7 system we have got a strange problem, some transaction have menus as "?????????????????". Not all transaction, but VA05, VA02, ecc. as example.

This menus are displayed after a recent kernel patch. If we return to previous Kernel patch there aren't any problem. This issue is showed in DEV system but not in TST system but both are PRD recent copy. The Kernel is 6.40 EX2 with last patch available.

It's on a HP-UX box (DEV and PRD are identical system: os release, patch, hw, ecc.) with Informix (OK... Informix we are planning to migrate to DB/2 next Year)

We have already try to recompile all ABAP loads from SGEN transaction but no success. Have you got any idea or suggest?

If Ruchit suggestion doesn't work there is an old trick you might be able to use.

Go to the affected transaction then click on System -> Status -> Double-Click on "GUI Status" -> Click in the activate button. Then simply leave the transaction and call it again.

Hi Ganimede,

Try deleting the language load using RSLANG20. First pPlease check OSS note 110910 and apply all the steps relevant to your release one of which would executing RSLANG20.
