SRM 7.01 NWBC error

We have installed SRM 7.01 and are waiting on the portal config.  In the meantime we are trying to use NWBC to get started.  We have created a user and assigned the SAP standard role /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE_EHP1.  When we log into NWBC we get an error "No Content Available" Contact your Administrator.  If we assign the user old roles with the SAP role we continue to get the error.  If we remove the SAP role we see the menu paths.

I know in the past the roles must have folders maintained for it to work in NWBC but these are SAP standard delivered roles I would think they would work.

Hello,

In order to use NWBC, switch SRM_700_LOCAL_MENU should be turned on.

Check in SPRO > SAP SRM > SRM Server  > Technical Basic Settings  > Portal Independant Navigation Frame.

By default the switch will be in inactive state.

Also, make sure you have gone through the documentation properly before changing the settings.
