What happens when I accept an invitation in the inbox?

In the inbox, when I get a notification 'new customer requests your connection' and I click on 'accept', am I directly linked to that customer? Is there a confirmation to me or to the customer? How can I see in the notification, if I already clicked on 'accept'? What happens, if I click twice? Does the customer get multiple notifications?

Hi Jürgen,

yes, you are directly connected to the customer. The customer receives a notification about that in his inbox.

Once you have accepted the request, the Accept and Decline buttons disappear. So you know that you have already responded and it is not possible to respond twice.
