message from Solman to ECC R/3

Hi,Jansi/Friends

i am able to send the message from ECC to Solman bcz RFC has been established. when as a Key user i had updated that message status in Solman  and it has go to R/3 to his particular user id(as a Inbox message)  because end user want to know the updated status of the message.

1st case its ok(ie ECC to Solman)

but the problem is in Second case (ie:how to switch or send that up dated message to his inbox of his user id in ECC )

please put some light up on this issue.

Hi Sunil,

I guess you need to do the SCOT configuration for sending mail from SAP ID to SAP ID.  (In bound mail configuration, lots of steps are there)

Once you done this set up, you can set te email Id of BP in solution manager as the inbound mail ID .

-> But my suggestion is, why dont you try for Outlook or external mail id, whenever status change of the service desk message.

-> other suggestion give a read and edit particular status access to the solman work center to the end users, so that they can just view the status of the message they created.

you can do this by b_userstat auth object
