Hello,
I´ve registered the different ABAP system in SMSY for requesting the files for update them, the MOPZ works correctly.
I´ve the doubt about the java stack registration. I´m searching and reading about the sld registration, etc but I haven´t clear.
If I´ve a Solution Manager , the normal is that this system will be the SLD Server? If It´s yes the java managed system have to point to SLD Server with the the connection SLD_Datasupplier,no?
I hope your advice.
Thanks a lot.
Hi,
yes, solution manager has its own local SLD, you can use that as single sld and register your entire system landscape there,
for ABAP, setting up data supplier in RZ70
for JAVA setting up data supplier in Visual admin - server -> services SLD data supplier.
this is good for small landscape, if you have much bigger landscape suggest to use separate dedicated SLD as central SLD and connct backt to solman SLD ,
if you are in 7.1 , then system itself prompt you for local sld or centrall sld config.
Please check.
Thanks
Jansi

Hi
As I can guess you have maintained Central SLD in Solution Manager system.
Please follow this link. I think it should be sufficient for you queries for data supplier:
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMSETUP/Connect+Managed+Systems+to+SLD
Also you can check this wiki for SLD maintenance related stuff:

Please let us know if you require help further.

Hello,
You can check
http://help.sap.com/ -> SAP Solution Manager 7.0 -> SAP Solution Manager7.0 EHP1 SP23 (English) -> Basic Settings -> Solution Manager systemlandscape -> Set-Up Automatic Data Capture for System Landscape
or https://service.sap.com/~sapdownload/011000358700001245642011E/MaintPlan_Guide.pdf
There should be information about setting up SLD and SMSY in these documents.
Best regards,
