SNP PPM having no resource

Hello,

The normal practice for production planning in my organisation is to take a SNP optimizer and then PPDS. To take SNP optimiser we use SNP PPMs generated from PP/DS PPMs. While doing same some of SNP PPMs get generated without any resource in it. But still SNP plans for this product. So just want to ask how come SNP plan without any resource in SNP PPM.

Another point which i want to ask is some of PPMs have two resources in it. Ideally PPMs should have only SNP relevant resources in it, but these PPMs with two resources are having 1 SNP relevant resource and other one is Non SNP relevant. So why this is so? what is the impact of this?

If you are using multi mixed resources, the variable resource consumption does not get copied. 

There is a user exit to copy this and a note providing the sample code.

Please explore this and see if the problem is solved.

(I am assuming that your PPDS PPMs contain the resources.  Else you have to look at R3 master data of work center and routing).
