Hello,
We are in the process of testing TDMS 4.0 and have a question of how others handle the content server. We are pretty sure TDMS does not copy any content from the content server (say from Production to Quality content servers). So in our tests, once we copy data from Production to Quality systems, the links in the records in Quality don't work. Do we need to copy the Production content server to our Quality content server, or what is the recomended method for addressing that?
Thanks,
Charlie Frey
Hi Charlie,
You are right , TDMS does not copy Content server during data transfer.
May be Note 798500 is useful here.

Hi,
By default TDMS is even not copiing the link tables (TOA*). So normally you should not have a problem.
It is also from a securty point of view not a good idea to copy this information from one system to the other (or pointing to prod CS from a non Prod SAP system - very bad habid..)
Best Regards
Joerg
