not able to update solution manager ehp1 with SAINT/SPAM

Hi Gurus,

I am upgrading solution manager from 7.0 SP15 to ehp1 sp26.

I have updated ABAP and JAVA to SP17 first.

Then i have updated 7.01 kernel.

  Then i have update JAVA part to SP26 successfully.

  i have uncared all ABAP patches to EPS/in and started at ABAP level but when i call SAINT not able to see all components and only one component

am able to see only ST-SER addon if continue it is giving error as SAPKITLORB has as invalid Basis Release 701

even i tried with SPAM also but not able to see 701 components.

please help me to go ahead.

For present ABAP patch level please find attachment.

The problem is am not able to see new 7.01 addons or patches in saint/spam.

i am following above guide and note which i have mentioned.

i am not able to find what am wrong?

Hi,

Have you selected the right binary i.e SOLMAN 7.0 with EHP1?

Check the file level permissionof your SP's in the EPS/in directory and upgrade your SAINT/SPAM to the latest.

Hi Venkat,

Please find the right way to select the SP for SOLMAN which is currently on SOLMAN 7.0 and target stack is SOLMAN 7.0 with EHP1(SP29).

You need to select SOLUTION MAMANGER 7.0 SPS17 as Start SP Stack

Hi,

Please prepare the queue as per the screen shot.

Also, import SAP note 1256384, 1354957(very Important)

This is as per my experience. I imported the Queue in 2 stage.

Stage 1:

Once you import queue1 in saint, try with the second queue. refer to the screenshot below:
