Hi
we are running consistency check /sapapo/ts_lcm_cons_check for our SNP planning area everyday, the options we select are with LOG, REPAIR, CHECK SNP master data and CHECK Live cache anchor check boxes.
It is running as part of our consistency check process chain, it worked fine until recently, but it started failing with a short dump TSV_TNEW_BLOCKS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY error. It is requesting huge memory. We have not been deleting our old logs. we dont have any changes on the data side from ECC like huge data etc.
But when we remove the Log option the program works successfully without requesting huge memory. Can any one point out why this behaviour is happening as we need previous logs.
what is the best way to run this program (options on selction screen)
Ashfaq,
Unnessary logs should be reorganized on a regular basis, regardless of how well or poorly your system is running.
Anyhow, to your problem. See if https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1235120 is applicable to your particular problem.

Ashfaq,
https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/425825 has some info about the subject. There may be other notes, you should try a search in OSS ( http://service.sap.com/notes ) if this subject interests you. Another common area to search would be SAP Service Marketpace ( http://service.sap.com/search ).
Personally, I wouldn't spend much time on this search. If a standard SAP program is not working satisfactorily, I normally just raise a message with SAP, and have them do the heavy lifting. Save your effort for the stuff that they won't fix.
Best Regards,
DB49
Chris,
KBA's are found in the OSS notes library http://service.sap.com/notes
Your KBA is https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/1622053
