Dear All,
We want to provide outbound quality certificate to specific customers.I have one doubt while doing production we are not linking it with any sale order. Then while dispatching and giving quality certificate to a specific customer the system will provide reading of which lot, will it be last inspected lot or passed lot or something else.
Thanks and regards

In QC21 you have option to enter the lot.You can select your own lot ,customer/material combination.

Typically the system gets the results from the last inspection with a UD. In the COA profile you can also select that it must be an "accepted" lot. I.e. A lot with a UD code that is designated as "A".
Also in the COA header you can specify a specific inspection origin and/or a specific inspection type. For instance, many places don't want any 09 lots to be utilized. So they will specify an inspection origin of 04 in the profile header.

We use the same scenario where we produce to stock and not produce to order. You will need to maintain the outputs per customer via VV22. Output determination will also have to be setup for said outputs. Standard COA has some functionality for determining the lot associated for the material on the delivery, just depends on your management type (batches, serial numbers, handling units, etc.). Chances are you will need a little bit of ABAP help for smart forms setup. Then you can use QC20 to process the COA outputs for the deliveries.
