Two Inspection Lots For 05 Inspection Type

Hi,  For return sales delivery from customer, i created a return sales order(VA01) and created delivery using VL01N.When i create delivery i getting an inspection lot type of 05 without stock posting option and if i dont do UD for that lot i am not able to do PGI and when UD is done and i do PGI another inspection lot of 05 is created with stock posting option. Kindly let me know is it the  normal behavior of inspection type 05.

Hi Pragalathan,

Plz check if you have also assigned insp type-05 in SPRO to Return Delivery Type ? If yes, remove it from config.

Then try with following:

- Assign 05 to material master

- Do NOT assign any origin to Delivery type in SPRO (Inspection for Shippping)

- Then create sales order & its delivery

Anup is absolutely correct! Just giving the path below in addition to his reply.

QCC0 > Quality inspection > Inspection lot creation  > Inspection at shipping > Assign Inspection Lot Origin to Delivery Type

If you have assigned inspection lot origin 05 against delivery type, then remove it.
