How to know the program associated to the output (print preview) of VL70?
Check using the transaction code V/53 or V/38. Under processing information, you can find the details of the program associated with the output type.
How to know if it's sapscript or alv or something else?
In V/53 or V/38, there is field-box for maintaining smartform related data. If any data is entered here, then it is related to smartform. If this field is blank, and details are entered in the field FORM under Processing 1 or 2 or so box, then it is SAP script form. If you double click on it, it will take you to SAP script details.
How to set it up if you have sapscript that needs to be connected to VL70 print preview?
If you assign the SAPscript in V/38, in the field mentioned in point 2, then it automatically gets connected in VL70. Once you execute the VL70, with selection parameters, then in the next screen you can see the list of deliveries and by selecting a delivery, clicking the preview button on the top, you can see the print preview of the picking list.
