Dual Landscape transports

Hi

I am looking at some advice on dual landscape transport stratgey, in terms of how chnages can be managed between the productive landcsape and the parallel landscape. Its a 4 system parallel landscape that is being built for an upgrade.

Hello,

I guess you would upgrade in the sequence of Dev, Qas, Test and Prod system acc. to your explaination.

After Dev System gets upgraded, excluding it all system will be on older version. So in case of any emergency changes needed for Prod, you've to do dual maintainance, in both Dev systems (upgraded and source system) and transort it to QAS and Prod.

Simillarly you have to proceed for rest of the systems in your landscape.

Generally Test system doesnt need upgrade, it can be built from upgraded Prod system by system copy.
